About

From the serene Ashley River in Charleston, SC, where my childhood was painted with hues of boating, fishing, and beachcombing, to the vibrant shores of Marco Island, FL, I've always been drawn to the mysteries of the coast. My passion isn't limited to just seashells, though; the dance of wildlife, the chorus of birds, and the tales they tell are what I cherish most. My professional journey at the Medical University of South Carolina equipped me with the prowess of community outreach, coordination, and marketing. Now, with Shell Camp Florida, I find joy in guiding fellow enthusiasts, sharing tales of shells from far-off lands like Mexico and the Caribbean, and continuously learning, be it the nuances of photography or the melodies of birds through the Charleston Bird Club.

Seashell stories from different corners of the world, the allure of birds, and an eternal love for the outdoors define my essence. As someone who has experienced the magic of SWFL's shelling and is an ardent member of the Charleston Bird Club, I'm excited to guide, educate, and share my experiences with fellow enthusiasts at Shell Camp Florida. Add to that my knack for photography and my past endeavors in patient education and community outreach, and you'll see why the coast and its treasures are more than just a pastime for me; they're a lifelong passion.
